CURE FOR TUNNEL BLUES

ParisUpdate-PixelAvenue

Pixel Avenue, a monumental installation by Paris artist Fred Sapey-Triomphe, produced by Digitalarti, is a surefire cure for tunnel blues as it lights up the ceiling in a tunnel in Seine Saint-Denis, changing colors and patterns in reaction to the movements and sounds made by passing cars, bikes and pedestrians. This permanent interactive installation runs underneath the A86 highway between the RER station Stade de France and the stadium itself. Heidi Ellison
