SAVE THE MUSEE DE MONTMARTRE

The Musée de Montmartre (12, rue Cortot, 75018 Paris; tel.: 01 49 25 89 37), located in a house once inhabited by artist Suzanne Valladon and her son Maurice Utrillo (and visited by many other famous artists, including Renoir and Dufy), may have to close because the city of Paris no longer wants to subsidize its indebted operator, the Société d’Histoire et d’Archéologie du Vieux Montmartre.
