Renowned theater director Peter Brook calls his stripped-down version of Mozart’s enchanting opera A Magic Flute to distinguish it from the original. A talented cast brings the story to life on the minimally decorated stage in Brooks’ own theater, the Bouffes du Nord. The spoken text is in French, the songs in German with French subtitles. 37 bis, boulevard de la Chapelle, 75010 Paris. Métro: La Chapelle. Tel.: 01 46 07 34 50. Through Dec. 31.
