FRENCH LESSONS
We have a lot to learn from the French: manger bien, dormir bien et vivre longtemps. “Society at a Glance,” a study conducted in its member countries by the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development), showed that the French not only spent more time on average sleeping (8.8 hours) and eating (2.25 hours) every day, but also had the best life expectancy for women (84.4 years) and third-best for men (77.3 years). The French government also spent more on social programs than the other OECD countries.
