PRELIMINARIES
For its inauguration, Galerie Slott (12, rue du Château Landon, 75010 Paris; tel.: 01 40 36 07 18), a new, off-the-beaten-track design gallery founded by Paola Bjaringer, is holding an exhibition called “Préliminaires” (through Feb. 12), a lighthearted yet provocative look at the world of intimate sensuality. Carte blanche was given to four designers – Matali Crasset, Arik Levy, Mathieu Lehanneur and Florence Jaffrain – to present their vision of love and its “preliminaries.” The open, multilevel space will be used not only for exhibitions, but also to host artists in residence.
