The Journées Internationales du Film sur l’Art (Jan. 20-24) festival at the Auditorium du Louvre (Carrousel du Louvre; reservations: 01 40 20 55 00) will feature 24 films on the arts – painting, architecture, photography, theater, music, dance and literature, among them Sam Pollard’s Zora Neale Hurston: Jump at the Sun, Jeffrey Perkins’ The Painter Sam Francis, David Thompson’s Pavarotti: A Life in Seven Arias, Erich Schmid’s Max Bill: The Master’s Vision, and King Vidor’s Fountainhead.
