Bastille Day
> Military parade on the Champs-Elysées, Paris, July 14, 10am. Fireworks, Eiffel Tower/Champ de Mars, Paris, July 14, 11pm (preceded by classical music on the Champ de Mars at 9:30pm). Firemen’s balls, most fire stations (click here for list), Paris, July 13 and 14, 9pm-4am.

Champs en Musique
> Classical concerts on Sunday afternoons at the Château de Champs-sur-Marne, through July 12.

Festival Chopin à Paris
> The summer Chopin festival in the park. Orangerie du Parc de Bagatelle, Bois de Boulogne, through July 14.

Festival Européen Jeunes Talents
> Classical and contemporary music by talents from all over Europe. Various locations, Paris, through July 25.

Festival International des Jardins de Chaumont-sur-Loire
> “Extraordinary Gardens, Collectors’ Gardens” is the theme of this year’s popular garden festival in the park of the Château de Chaumont. Chaumont-sur-Loire, through Nov. 1.

Fête de Montmartre
> Belle Epoque-style entertainment in the Renoir Garden of the Musée de Montmartre. Every Sunday  through July 12.

Les Etés de la Danse
> International dance festival featuring the Aivin Ailey Dance Theater. Théâtre du Châtelet, July 10-26.

L’Eté du Canal, l’Ourcq en Fêtes.
Boat rides, canal tours, dance performance, concerts, street art, outdoor films, balls and more around the Canal de l’Ourcq.Various locations, Paris & Seine Saint Denis, hrough Aug. 23.

Monuments en Mouvement
> Free dance performances choreographed for national monuments like the Pantheon in Paris, the Abbaye de Cluny and various châteaux. Various locations, through Sept. 15.

> Annual festival of music, dance, theater and more from around the world. Various locations, Paris, July 14-Aug. 8.

Scènes d’Eté
> Free outdoor concerts on the weekends of world music: tango, Cuban, Senegalese, Breton, Irish and more. La Villette, Paris, through July 26.

Siestes Electroniques
