American photographer Sally Mann’s “Proud Flesh” series, currently on show at the Galerie Karsten Greve (through Dec. 31) in Paris, documents the effects of muscular dystrophy on her husband’s body. Images from other series, including “Deep South,” “Faces” and “Battlefields,” are also included in this powerful exhibition.
