Time to pack a picnic and head north: the Cinéma en Plein Air festival starts tonight on the Prairie du Triangle at Paris’s Parc de la Villette and runs through Aug. 16. This year’s theme is “Traversées” (“Crossings”), and such films as Brokeback Mountain, Into the Wild and Broken Flowers will be shown for free. Films start around 10 p.m. but get there around 8:30 with your picnic if you want a good spot on the lawn. Deck chairs are available for €2. Click here for details.
