NEW PARIS AIRPORT

Paris may soon have a new airport, but not one that is exactly next door. Ryanair, which already flies into Beauvais Airport, about an hour’s drive from the city, will start using Vatry Airport, located 150 kilometers to the east of the city near Châlons-en-Champagne, a two-hour drive away, on June 30, for flights to Stockholm and Oslo. Ryanair is promoting it as near Disneyland, but it is actually an hour-and-a-half away from the resort in Marne-la-Vallée by car.
