ONLINE BOOKING

Some of the museums run by the city of Paris are finally entering the modern age and selling tickets online, but only for certain temporary exhibitions. The good news is that there is no extra charge for booking online, and once you’re there, no waiting in lines to get in, but you must reserve 48 hours ahead of time. The system is in place for the Giorgio de Chirico show at the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, the Musée Carnavalet and the Petit Palais. Tickets can be also be reserved on www.culture.paris.fr.
