IN THE PINK
After a lot of foot-dragging, on June 8, the European Union abandoned plans to issue a regulation that would have allowed the production of rosé wine by coloring white wine with red. There had been, shall we say, some opposition to the plans from the people who actually make the wine. You have to wonder: who thought that one up? (Thanks to Hôtellerie & Restauration).
