This 1972 portrait of Dizzy Gillespie is estimated at €1,200-€1,500. © The Washington Postanniversary this year, will auction off 300 photos from its archive at Drouot on Nov. 19. Just about everyone who made history during the period is represented, from Hitler and Churchill to Sylvia Beach and Samuel Beckett.
